How it works when you hire me

  • Reach Out!

You found your way to my website. You might as well fill out my to the contact form and let me know what you are looking for. I want to know what YOUR vision is for your session. We can chat over the phone or via email. I will then send you a proposal which will include selecting details of your session, including date, time and invoice. Soon after, you’ll receive my Client Welcome Guide full of detailed information.

  • The Session

We will meet at one of my favorite locations, indoors or outdoors. I have a great list of locations in and around the Madison area to pick from. We will have a session that is laid back and fun. All sessions are at least 60 minutes. This gives me time to get your family beyond that initial 15 minutes. Keeping things casual and relax is my goal. If your kids are getting antsy, we will run around and play games. Don’t worry, I will be sure we get some traditional posed photos right at the beginning.

  • Gallery Delivery

Within two weeks after our session, you’ll receive an invitation to view your images in a curated private digital gallery. These images will be lightly edited. At this time, you will pick your favorite photos and an artwork collections to go with them. Depending on which package you selected, you’ll be able to select your digital images and products from your gallery as well as purchase additional archival products for your home or gifts. Soon after, you will be presented with gorgeous final products and images.

Your family photos should be reflect who you are as a family. I strive to keep my photos realistic, filled with bright colors and authentic laughter. I want my clients to be comfortable in the moment. I want my clients to wear clothes that make them feel great but also reflective of who they are. Wear makeup, or don’t. Get a blow out, or pull your hair up into a ponytail.
